El Tesoro
We first worked with coffees from the El Tesoro farm in April 2018, and began working together with Victor more closely from May 2023.
El Tesoro is a small farm comprised of approximately 6000 coffee trees in total, located in the Palestina region of Huila. The farm was started by Victor's father, a former carpenter, and is currently operated by Victor Barrera and his daughter Yenifer. El Tesoro harvest twice yearly in the periods between June-August and October-December.
Victor has been operating the farm for 14 years, and for the last 11 years has worked with Azahar for export and distribution. As a result of this, El Tesoro and Azahar maintain a strong understanding and we happy to work together with the both of them.
